Walk Back To Light

I’ve read the holy scriptures,
they teach love to all.
I’ve lived in a land down under,
and answered a devil call.

But I wish I knew,
how to get to you.

I’ve calmed ugly bar fights,
I’ve lied to save a friend.
I’ve been an axe victim,
and drank in The World’s End.

What do I do,
to impress you?

I can feel our love fading away like that smoke,
you blow from your cigarette.
You string me along with all the right words,
I’m nothing more than a marionette.
But I know what you do in the darkness,
alone at night.
You think that you can hide those scars from me,
walk back to light.
Walk back to light.

I can feel our love fading away like that smoke,
you blow from your cigarette.
You string me along with all the right words,
I’m nothing more than a marionette.
But I know what you do in the darkness,
alone at night.
You think that you can hide those scars from me,
walk back to light.

Walk back to light. x5
